It is already the second anniversary of Bayon Pastry school coffee shop. For more than ten years, the NGO Bayon school has helped underpriviledged children from the Angkor temples area to get free and quality education until graduate level.
The pastry school was created in 2014 and provides vocational training in pastry to underprivileged women. The selection process chooses young women based on their motivation and their family’s income level. The benefits from the pastries sales help finance the school.
On Saturday 29th of April from 10am to 5pm, Bayon School celebrates the two years of its coffee shop. It’s free and everyone passing by is welcome to enjoy live music, artists, different activities as well as delicious food. More information and access details on the Facebook event page.
